Customer Support Advisor (Immediate Start)

£21,000 - £25,000 Plus Bonus Scheme, 20 Days’ Annual Leave (rising to 25 with service)

As a Customer Support Advisor, you will represent the company by being the first point of contact for customers. 

Your duties will include: 

Customer Service & Technical Skills: 
- Answering incoming customer telephone calls and email technical support queries using the internal helpdesk system 
- Establishing information about customer queries and escalating complex technical problems when necessary 
- Assisting customers with configuration requirements 
- Supporting business applications 

Sales & Payments: 
- Answering sales related product enquiries 
- Upgrading customer to more sophisticated products in line with the development of their businesses 
- Exploring the range of products specific to customer requirements and making recommendations 
- Processing customer orders and taking payments 
- Ensuring that customers make valid payments 

To be considered for this role, you must have: 
- At least two years’ customer service experience 
- The ability to identify up-selling opportunities 
- Good documentation skills and the ability to follow procedures and processes 
- Proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel 
- Good email, instant messaging and web knowledge 
- The ability to take ownership of issues, being organised and willing to be flexible 
- The ability to receive instructions from managers and provide accurate feedback 

Ambitious and methodical, as a Customer Support Advisor, you must have great listening and communication skills, as well as a customer focused approach. A team player mentality, plenty of empathy and excellent attention to detail are also key.

 

The ideal Customer Support will have previous customer service experience gained in a telecommunications environment. 

Please note, candidates must live within a commutable distance of London, EC2 or be willing to relocate. Due to the urgency to fill this vacancy, primary consideration will be given to candidates who are able to start immediately.
